Why I keep building
Some ideas start as a business plan. Most of mine start as a question I can’t leave alone.
What if this could be simpler? What if someone who has an idea, but not a large team, could still get it into the world? Those questions have taken me through prototyping, software engineering, client projects, and my own startups.
Each project has taught me that making the first version is only the beginning. The hard part is listening closely enough to understand what people actually need, choosing what to leave out, and staying with the work long enough to learn from it.
I’ve built products for others and started ventures of my own. Some ideas found traction. Others changed shape or stopped altogether. The useful part, in either case, was getting close enough to reality to see what the idea really was.
Now AI is changing how quickly a small team can make things. That’s exciting. It also makes judgment more valuable: understanding the problem, checking the work, and deciding what deserves to exist.
This site is where I’ll share the questions, decisions, and lessons from that process. I’m still building, and I’m still learning.
